What truly sets this home apart from so many others is the professional chef-style kitchen. The place where everyone seems to congregate when the house is full, merriment is being made, and all the culinary masterpieces are being created. With three sinks, plenty of counter/ storage space, and a restaurant-style stove top & oven, you'll be inspired to share the most fabulous of meals.

Our home has plenty of room to feel cozy and comfortable with the whole group and most importantly, can keep the kids entertained as well. The upstairs bedrooms provide a nice reprieve from all the action downstairs with its L-shaped hallway. There is also a fully-equipped laundry room available with both a washer & dryer upstairs and a second set downstairs in the garage.

 

The main living area, is on the ground lieve, and features a large yet cozy living room just to the left of the entryway with an exquisite fireplace, flat screen TV, and bay window seating which then opens up to the game room complete with a Billiards table. The French doors in the game room give way to the second TV room/ den area which has a 65" Samsung Frame TV and large couches to cozy up in.

 

The dining room is just off the kitchen area and next to yet another cozy fireplace. Here you will also find French doors that open up onto the front deck where you can sit around the cozy fire pit or grill something up on the propane BBQ.

 

Access to the mother-in-law unit is available through a set of doors just off the kitchen so it's easily accessible but offers a bit more privacy if needed. The mother-in-law unit has a separate bedroom and full bath with a kitchenette and a living room with a flat-screen TV. Separate access to the unit is also available through the garage as well.

Quiet Hours are between 9 pm and 8 am and are strictly enforced.

 

Daytime occupancy is 28 people and nighttime occupancy is 14 people. We are permitted for up to 4 cars in the driveway. Renters will be issued a parking placard and must display this on the driver's side dashboard while parked in the driveway. Failure to park in designated parking areas and/or display the parking placards may result in a citation and fine of $500 courtesy of Douglas County.

 

*THIS IS NOT A PARTY HOUSE. WE DO NOT WISH TO HOST ANY EVENTS OR WEDDINGS. This house is meant for families and respectful groups. Any gatherings and events that exceed the maximum occupancy of the vacation home rental are prohibited. Thanks for your understanding.*

 

Two car garage w/ ping pong table & plenty of room for storing extra gear and skis/ snowboards can hang to dry on our big rack. We also have room for one parking spot. We also have four parking spaces available for four cars in the driveway with the supplied parking permits.

 

Outdoor seating area complete with a fire pit and BBQ on the front deck-- propane provided!

 

Garbage & recycling service pick up on Wednesdays.

 

Snow removal service is offered in the winter so you do not need to worry about trying to clear the driveway. They will come by anytime there is more than 3 inches of snow accumulated outside.

 

We can respond to Airbnb Messages, emails, or phone calls usually in under an hour.

 

Always available if needed for any issues. Message anytime and we can be there usually within 10-15 minutes. We live close by in the neighborhood.

 

The house is located in the beautiful Round Hill Neighborhood of Zephyr Cove which is just over 2 miles from the California / Nevada border and Heavenly Village Shopping Center.

Located just a two-minute drive from Safeway and numerous restaurants and about a seven-minute drive to the nearest access point to Heavenly Ski Resort and Village.

 

If you're into mountain biking, numerous legendary trails start just a short ride from the house. Just ask for more details!

 

Interested in Skiing or Snowboarding?

Heavenly Mountain Resort is only 7 minutes away! There are three different access points to the resort all within a 10-minute drive from the house. We have plenty of room for all your gear in the garage and a coat room just inside the front door for all your layers.

 

Also, a fun and easy (15 min) morning/ evening hike up to the top of Round Mound will give you dazzling views of the Lake. Definitely a beautiful sunset spot to check out.

 

The driveway is a blind turn to the right and there is a sign that states this just prior to the driveway on the street. Slow down when you see the sign when pulling in. When backing out please back down slowly, be cautious, and always look behind you.

Our home is located less than a mile from the Round Hill Safeway Shopping Center and just a seven-minute drive to Heavenly Ski Resort and Stateline/ South Lake Tahoe.

 

In winter months, please check with California's Department of Transportation website for road conditions, restrictions & closures. It is advisable to have at least one vehicle in your group with AWD/4WD and always carry chains, especially with 2WD vehicles.

 

Quiet hours are designated between 9 pm and 8 am and shall be strictly enforced as per Douglas County Vacation Rental Policy. Please respect our neighbors as this is a family neighborhood and we think they are pretty awesome.

 

Our County requires that the primary renter be 25 years of age or older, provide a copy of a driver's license, and contact information, and complete a rental agreement. We will ask for this information to be provided after your initial booking.

 

The maximum number of daytime occupants is 28 people. The maximum number of nighttime occupants is 14 people.

 

The total number of vehicles permitted in the driveway is 4 with the supplied parking placard displayed on the driver's side dash.
